If some Solar event would occur and the world would lose electricity, chaos would occur within 3 days and you would be defending your house and family until you run out of bullets.

Not if you learned to forge metal in your youth. Knew how to make resin compounds and sinew to make bows. Could flake rock for cutting knife and projectile tips.

I was on call for the first week. When on call for a week straight and working from home I never really left house. Walked dog and jogged bout it. That shite happened on a Tuesday. I got off call the next Monday and couldn’t find toilet paper anywhere. Ended up going to the park and stealing the Scott roll. I had nothing.

There are still places on Earth where the lack of internet and electricity have no effect. The Philippines, Borneo, Papau Guinea , Dry Prong, Jackson Miss. . Those folks will make out fine.

There would be absolute chaos of all our electrics were suddenly not working anymore. I have read theories on weapons that will do this or possibly a massive solar flare type thing.
I have been thinking about getting a car that is old that does not have all the electrical stuff in it.

This isn't about electronics and social media.. It's about telling your wife what you actually think and not lie.

Telling your parents what you actually think, and not lie.

Telling your kids what you think, and not lie.

A politician on tv, and not lie.

Your preacher doing his sermon, and not lie.

About teachers not lying.

Pharma companies not lying.

Your boss, your coworkers, your friends, your family..

The list is endless.

Just think of every obscure interaction you have throughout the day that would be totally with pure truth.

World will go crazy.

24 hours

You let people go one day without food and society will collapse.

People with hungry children will do whatever it takes to feed them.

90 days from start to complete and total anarchy

Power grid failure, looting of essential non perishable food items from stores and supply warehouses, transportation grinding to halt as gas drys up, then neighborhoods transform to chaotic and violent survival situations

90 fricking days for at least 80% of the world population to revert to animal behavior

People would get creative in telling the truth. Kind of like when Ethel bet Lucy that she couldn't go an entire day without fibbing. They visited a friend's place who just redecorated her living room in gaudy Chinese style. When the woman left the room Lucy told Ethel that it "looked like a nightmare you'd have after eating too much Chinese food." When the woman came back in the room Ethel pressed Lucy to repeat what she'd said. Lucy didn't want to lie so she said, "oh, I said it looks like a dream!"

Come to think of it, politicians and the media already do this.

90 days is so Pollyannaish that is is laughable. Food distribution ends in days, not weeks.

We'd be on a different planet if an EMP hit the east coast within a matter of months.
