Of course Gustav was my freshman year of college coming from the Midwest. Rude awakening.

Gustav was about 36 hours, maybe 48.
Katrina never lost it at the same house.

Oh and the OP needs to include the 2016 floods as I never lost power and never flooded and I was just south of Baton Rouge at the time.

I was in New Orleans for Katrina and got to BR on Tuesday afternoon. I stayed at my sister's house in the Garden District. We were without power I think a couple of weeks..She says that it takes a long time for them to get power back anytime they lose it..They ended up getting a whole home generator..

We lost power for over two weeks with Gustav.
I feel like it was out longer with Rita than after Katrina.

This is for my parents, as I wasn’t in Baton Rouge for most of them, but I was for fricking Gustav (and Andrew).
Andrew: 5 hours. Around 3:00, Oprah’s show came on
Katrina: about 8 hours
Rita: didn’t lose power, but it was the closest to flooding besides the rain event from last month
Gustav: 6 days
Ike: maybe half an hour
Isaac: didn’t lose power, I believe but not positive
2016 flood: 2 days, didn’t come close to flooding
Barry: didn’t lose power
Andrew: 5 hours. Around 3:00, Oprah’s show came on

Where in Baton Rouge were you to get such a long outage for Katrina?
For Gustav, I know we were on the short end at almost a week, and some people went three weeks or longer for Andrew, but I didn’t realize Katrina caused problems in BR
