I've had 3 jobs in my life. First job was 5 miles, 45 minutes in southern cali. So I made it a point to not do that again. Second job was 490 yards.....and I still drove it. Now I work from home....and I still drive it.

When I lived in Katy... 3 - 5 hours round trip depending on traffic.... Now in the Chuck... about 45 min round trip

Today was leave my house at 5a and get to client site by 3p pacific time so 12 hours total. Other days it is 3.5 mins as I piss, brush teeth, and walk to the coffee pot

2 miles. My commute involves one traffic light followed by a 4 way stop...total time 5 mins on a bad day. It's awesome but I'm also spoiled...going to the store for anything after work other than the CVS and small market by my house is awful lol
