With the Yellow and Blue Lines currently shut down south of National Airport (DCA), it takes about 55-60 min one way to get from Alexandria, VA to downtown DC.

I ride an express bus (a long haul motorcoach) to the Pentagon and board the Yellow Line there. It's not bad, but it'll be nice when the Metro lines reopen on September 8, even if there will be lingering single tracking for a while.

I haven't driven to work since I moved here in May 2017.

Five minutes. I could walk if I wanted to, and sometimes I do.

Work from home, so no commute.

My wife's commute is 4 miles, takes about 10 minutes or so.

Can take anywhere from 50 minutes to 2 hours depending on the cluster of the situation on the Beltway.

I like the downstairs soccer bar much better.

Pretty cool. But i hate the alumni club shite shows that occur

12 miles, it takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes one-way depending on traffic. On exceptional days (like the week between Christmas and New Years) I can make it in 10-15 minutes.

72 miles each way. Covington to North BR. I'll take that over living in BR any day of the week. I love the Northshore.

We had a crawfish boil held there back in June (upstairs) and there was a Copa America game going on at the same time downstairs. Those people sounded like they were having a blast

We don't have many alumni events going on there. It's mostly just watch parties
