'78 at a beach party. Married '82.

34 years and we met at "The Mine Shaft" bar and Restaurant in Fat City. She is my best friend still??

The "diaper hop" a teenage dance in '75

8 years. LSU vs. Appalachian State tailgate. The game where they moved it up due to Gustav. Technically met her at the bar, but didn't really talk to her there (I say that so I can tell people I didn't meet my wife in a bar ). Her friends invited us to go straight to the tailgate from the bar since they moved the game up to 10 a.m.. I guess we went. I don't really remember shite, but we are married now, so I must have made a good impression.

Varsity - 1996

65 years. Met at a fair in 1951 while I was waiting for another girl to show up at a ferris wheel ride. The other girl had to leave immediately and sent her friend to tell me that she wouldn't be there. Soon be married 60 years.
