Don't know if anyone realises but Japan's Edge crime (ie knife attacks) are 32 times ours. Whatever weapon a criminal can get their hands on.

Thank goodness there aren't more gun crimes in Japan. Could you imagine the chaos that having to question everyone in the country over a police sketch would cause?

Of course they do. They also have the highest media coverage of shite that goes down. That still doesn't account for the fact that Canada and Australia have much lower gun murder and suicide rates than we do. All three are basically the same country with cowboys and incredible cities, welcoming immigrants.

I just want it to stop. We have a bigger enemy to worry about than ourselves.

I guess if we got rid of about 200,000,000 minorities and undesirables, then soldiered through 40 plus years of confiscation after magically becoming an island the size of California, we might have lower gun crime rates.

The record of history is crystal clear on this one. Anywhere there are people of different cultures, religions, or races living in the same place at the same time -- there is violence. It's an unfortunate part of human nature, I'm afraid.
