Yeungling... and the occasional micky ultra here.
No Bud light.
I know my Micky ultras are AB... but at least it ain't bud.

What a fricking hypocrite. Design a trans backed ad campaign for bud light then go work for the Saudis?

Modelo is much better than Bud Light and brews a good solid all around beer. Notice I did not say great. As someone that has brewed a lot of beer back in the day I am well aware of "Flems, Dutch, Brits & Germans".

I’m still very surprised that so many people are so brainwashed that they stopped drinking the beer that they always have just because some weird dude wanted to become a chick. They got some weaker minded people out there. And scared that people will mock them because they want to drink a beer associated with said ads…

I was forced to purchase a Bud Light at a Saints game. I had assumed that the beer man still had a Miller Lite left and the card transaction had processed when he finally said all I have left is the trans beer.

There's nothing wrong with being gay. Just own it.

That’s because a lot of the people who “boycotted” Bud Light are too stupid to realize they’re still giving their money to AB through other brands.
People aren't still mad about her disparaging remarks. Bud Light still has the negative brand association. It's the first thing you think of when you hear Bud Light, so frat stars and working baws wouldn't be caught dead with one.
Natty Light doesn't have the same problem.

Bud Light is still down compared to pre-controversy. Anheuser-Busch stock is doing just fine compared to pre-controversy

As time goes by, people forget all the publicity shite. It’s cheaper beer that folks will eventually go for and it’s why they will likely make money. Time usually heals wounds. Not saying I’m a bud light guy but just speaking on a general sense.

I think the bigger issue is that she shite all over what was the current customer base for the brand. She literally said she wanted to move the brand away from 'fratty' customers, or something like that. It was far more damning than the use of Mulvaney as a spokesperson. She basically said 'frick all the people that have made this brand what it is, we want to appeal to the <1% of the population that is trans/has gender dysphoria." That's just bad business.

It’s been what, 3 years? It seems that fiasco has had a lasting effect on the brand. It didn’t kill it, obviously, but it definitely had a real impact

I’ll never forget being at a Brooks and Dunn concert about 2 weeks after that all went down. There were 2 beer stands on the floor. One only had Bud Light. Literally didn’t see one person in the line all night, while the other stand had a 15 minute wait. And people seemed happy to wait. Half way through the night the concession workers started trying to pour the bud light into cups instead of giving out the cans, in hopes that people would give in, but it didn’t work.
