It’s one of the larger providers. They’ll give attractive rates to entice and then slowly raise over the following years. I haven’t needed to make a claim so can’t speak to that experience.

I've had them for years and have had 2 claims a windshield and about a 13K claim on my wife's old car....they always played me straight. I didn't have any problems.

I have been using Geico for my cars and golf cart. Super easy. Set it up over phone but you can online. Their app is easy to use. Added my daughter this week as a driver although she only has permit right now.

Had them before, but had 2 separate accidents (about 3 years apart) where I was not at fault and they increased my rates both times. First time, I thought nothing of it. Other driver changed lanes and struck my vehicle.

The 2nd accident, I was parked in my car (in a parking space) and a drunk driver hit my car. That vehicle's owner also happened to have Progressive, but the driver was excluded because of a prior DUI. Was a huge ordeal to get them to cover my bills without forcing me to pay a deductible. Left when it was time to renew because the rates jumped drastically.

Just avoid US Agencies. Every body shop I sell to complains about their crappy claims process. Your car will be in the shop much longer if ever wrecked.

I don't want to say a lot of stupid people use them, but a lot of stupid people use them. I work for a company that had Progressive in the name pre-Flo. We actually changed our name because so many people called for quotes and came to our office to pay premiums or make claims. When we would explain that we aren't the insurance company they would almost argue with us. We used to try to be nice and actually had a flyer typed up with names of local agents that sold Progressive, it was that bad.

Might be good insurance though, I've had them on my boat for years but never filed a claim.

Speaking from experience, Progressive is great at taking your money, but not at paying out claims. They will fight you to keep from paying. Terrible insurance company.

I have them but I also have a perfect driving record, so I'm a good, low risk client, I have my agent shop prices for comparable coverage every six months

Had them years ago. Had one hit & run claim on my parked car and they paid out and dropped me.

Hope this helps.

disagree, this is one reason I like to have an agent as opposed to purchasing directly from a 1 800 #, if you develop a good relationship they'll go to bat for you if needed

Yep - your premiums are laundered into financing campaigns for Marxist DAs who hate America.

I've had it for over 10 years. Never had to make a claim so of course its been easy. They also have a good rate for me, which includes 2 daily drivers, an antique vehicle, and a boat. I recently compared to USAA and the quote was just a few dollars less than Progressive, so I just stayed put instead of going through all the trouble of changing everything over to put $22 every 6-months back in my pocket.

Been a member over 10 years. Used once for hit & run; they were awesome to work with. And their rates (checked a few months ago) crushing geico/everyone else. Go flo
