How far to push Walmart/Sam's Club return policies?

Went grocery shopping tonight and told the wife, who worked all day, I didn't want to cook tonight so was just going to grab something that looked interesting at Sam's.

Picked up these ribs

From the reviews:

" It’s as if they mixed up pieces of some kind of meat with dog food and shaped it around little bones. Inedible."

"I have eaten better ribs at Golden Corral close to closing time."

" It tastes like fatty fake meat."

I can take this shite back even though it was defrosted, right? I didn't even cook it after reading these reviews. Is that trashy?

So trashy, you should throw yourself away.

Put some sour cream in a flour tortilla and call it Taco Bell.

What do you expect from overprocessed food? I’m guessing meat is the fourth or fifth ingredient.

They'll take back anything. ANYTHING.

Why would you buy poorly reviewed food, though?

I don't think returning ribs is necessarily trashy, but is it worth the hassle?! Try em’ and report your findings.

I've taken back a gallon of milk that tasted off. It was more of protest to consistently getting bad tasting milk than it was getting my $3 back. I don't buy WM milk anymore.

My aunt will take back watermelons that aren't worth eating. She just brings the cut up melon in a garbage bag and gets her cash back. She said a person who worked in produce encouraged her to bring back anything she didn't like.

They're not Walmart's ribs. They're some vendor's ribs. No skin off Walmart's butt if you return them. The vendor pays all costs for the return.

Walmart WANTS to know about product that is sub-standard.

If it were something that they could sell to someone else, I'd have no reservations returning it. However, you bought them fair and square and defrosted it, so it shouldn't be returned. I personally would try them out and if they aren't worth shite, I'd pitch them and just not worry about the $12.

Somehow, I forgot to pack the tailgate tent once. No idea how I missed that one. Remember it on the drive to Starkville. Bought one at the Starkville Walmart. Used it and returned it to the Madison Walmart the next day. No issues.

Probably wouldn’t return food though

Do you really think the rib vendor reimburses Wal Mart?

Was it one of those girls that burned down Andre Rison's house?
Which one?

That's fricking trashy. Maybe you should read the reviews prior to making your purchase next time

Eat it and see. Who gaf about the reviews? No telling who/when/why those reviews were made.
