I don’t see anyone complaining about the Lincoln navigator school bus with its V6.

Does the SUV have the V6 twin turbo exploder 2000 engine?

I've had my Sequoia for 2 years now with the same V6TT got about 36k miles on it and have had zero issues ..

My only complaint is the fuel capacity on the Sequoia..it's like 20 Gallons.. My Infiniti Q50 sedan has the same exact tank size

Car looks far from appealing.

their trucks and SUVs look so good.

This is subjective. In my opinion Tundras are the ugliest trucks on the road. But that’s coming from someone who thinks pretty much all trucks have been ugly for several years now.

every time it gets cold. It’s often my full sized spare that’s the culprit. Mine’s on right now for no apparent reason it happens so often that it’s going be a boy cried wolf situation in the event that I do actually have a low tire lol

How do you think 90% of SUVs are used today?

That's actually the new 4Runner, which sits on a "ladder" frame, just like a truck. You are likely thinking of the Highlander or Rav4, which have unibody frames like a car.

Who cares what it looks like. I haven't had a truck payment in 20 YEARS.

Yes, cold weather can cause your tire pressure to drop because when the temperature decreases, the air molecules inside the tire contract, taking up less space and resulting in lower pressure; essentially, the air inside the tire is not escaping, but simply shrinking due to the cold.
Colder temperatures will cause tire pressure to drop about 1 pound per square inch for every 10° F drop in air temperature. If you don't fill up at home, the warning light may turn off after driving a few miles because of heat building up in the tires.

I do this for a few miles when it’s cold to heat up my tires so I’ll be ready when the light turns green

Probably a huge money maker for the auto manufacturers and dealerships.

For example:
Pi Pico 2 W board with wireless connectivity = $7
Pressure sensor = $3

That is way more hardware and processing power than you need for a single function TPS which go for $70+ each.

(sure you have to add a little for the engineering and manufacturing of the valve stem but it is not like this is new cutting edge tech)

Found my wife a 23 GX460 with the V8 and less than 9k miles. CarMax in Miami area had it. They shipped it to CarMax near here for $199 so we could look at it. It was mint. They gave us way more $$$ for her 4Runner than I thought it was worth as well.

Best car deal I’ve ever made. Every time I start it I think of the scene in the original Mad Max movie where the guy gives Mel Gibson his new police car “Last of the V-8 Interceptors” he told him. LOVE that vehicle. It’s what the 4Runner should have been. 18 mpg hwy or over 20 with non ethanol gas. Probably too much tech stuff on it but it is what it is.
