How does one get into the local LEGAL marijuana business?

It's crazy lucrative. At the dispenserary the other day. They had about 100 people. They got through this people in about an hour. Each person spent at least $40 with the average being about $120.
It's all cash. They are printing money.
All the weed is grown by lsu or southern. Also you used to have to pay for the doctor to rubberstamp your prescription. Now they have goodcannanow.com and you just fill it out. They call you 10 minutes later and you can legally buy weed. Crazy.
I think full legalization is close. So how do we get in on this money?
Dammit 14 years later and I'm still salty i didn't listen to Wikitiger and put it all on bit coin.

Trump and the Christian Reich are going to shut down trafficking in the devil’s lettuce. Better make hay while you can.

It's a rat race and you'll have folks from the west coast who know all the tricks working in the newer states

99% of those dispensaries are losing their arse. The regulations/licensing/tax requirements eat all the profit. Very few companies are actually doing well.

Source? Good Day Farms just opened two new locations in S'port/Bossier, one being a completely new building.

You don't. Unless you're politically connected. That's why they fought so hard to shut down the hemp based THC industry. It was cutting into their profits.
Legislature pulled the growing permits from LSU and Southern and gave them to the operators. So now there are 2 private growers in Louisiana who hold the only permits.
I think it might be easier to become a grower in MS.

Must be nice to hold exclusive rights and control supply, distribution, and sales for an entire industry.

Work for the mob...go to prison...get released...move to Tulsa.

You're too late. These licenses were handed out as political favors years ago. Those people have since sold them for millions.

Regulations here make it difficult for these guys to make a lot of money. In fact, several are in trouble because they are behind on taxes.

I know a farmer in CenLa that took a stab at growing it. He spent a ton of money setting up an operation and quit after a year. He said there was no money at all in that shite.
