There had been a explosion of them in Baton Rouge. One on Tiger Bend, O'Neal, Seigan, Harrell's Ferry, etc. Someone has to have some info on some of those places. I have a friend that tried the one on Coursey and he said he had no luck. Just a regular massage.

I know the one in Port Allen used to give handy's and more. I know that for a fact. I'll go with Chickens strategy and say a friend told me.

1. Look for license on wall when you walk in 2. Pay attention to their attire. If it's uniform/plain you're good so far. If it's "dressy" or revealing big red flag 3. Check for Kleenex boxes when you enter the room. Seems stupid but this is actually one of the easiest indicators. 4. Pay attention to how they massage. If they are lightly rubbing, tickling the back of your legs - bad business. 5. Bottom line is you have to be clear and tell them you just want a massage It's not worth getting arrested over something silly. You wanna get jacked off, jack yourself off.

per a reliable source, they wouldn't sell gift cards, 100% sure you're in the clear.

If it's highly advertised, chances are it is legit. Tug Shops are not going to advertise their business and get unwanted attention.

Truth. Also a sketchy looking temporary banner that they got made at the local kinko's

You can usually tell from the photos of the place on google maps.

if they have inside pictures of legit massage chairs and beds with open rooms for multiple people it's legit

If it's mostly pictures of the outside of the building and one or two photos of inside rooms that like more like bedrooms it's probably shady

Let's stop beating around the bush (pardon the pun) - Chicken. Stay out of those places or you're going to end up in the stir fry, baw.

I take the temporary banner sign strung across the front of strip mall rental space to be the first sign of shadiness.

lol, I've been to 2. The first one that's exactly why I went. A friend had a gift card and was afraid to use it. I went, very clean, and as I passed the first room I saw bars from the ceiling. The masseuse noticed I was looking and see said to walk on back, no fall down. I laugh and she ask if i wanted "walk on back" I said yes.

No extras were offered. She was happy about me using the gift card and I tipped.

4 months later they were busted. I heard undercover cop laid down face up grabbed her hand and said he didn't have time. Busted her for having a minor in the building also. 15 YO doing homework in the office.
I was told the details from someone in the DA's office.

They won't be advertising in Craigslist or Backpage.

I've met the owner of an Asian massage "chain" in BR/Ascension.

Her places don't offer any frills. I like them because you can walk right in, they ACTUALLY massage you to the point of Kung Fu level training (stomping on you, twisting you around, karate chopping etc). They aren't afraid to massage the butt - which is a necessity imo. They're cheaper and friendlier.

These American spas could learn a thing or two from them.

yeah chinese magic hands either busted, no longer advertise, or relocated. but there are lots of places here in shreveport and bossier city. its weird.

this one used to be on the industrial loop in shreveport on this two story building that was leased to them, a physical therapy clinic, and another business. now there is only one business advertising, the pt business left.

If the door is metal gate over it and you have to be buzzed in, it may be shady,

FYI - not to breakup a party, but as someone who knows, there are coordinated, inter-agency investigations ongoing that involve HPD, DOJ and DHS. There are recording devices and live video of the license plates and faces of visitors to about two dozen of these spas in their current investigations into human trafficking in Houston. Facial recognition technology being used can identify you from as little as an image of your ear, using as many as 331 different facial 'sprites'.

If you, or, in this case, Dhillip, are visiting an Asian Spa in Houston, the chances of being part of these investigations is pretty good. Be forewarned.
