There was a dude on last week or so who used to work with my wife. Good dude with a good family. He ended up winning 310k.

My cousin and her 2 friends got on Price is Right 2 years ago. Pretty sure most of them except are about the same. You need to write to them to get tickets to the show. They typically tape 5 shows in single day. You then plan a trip out to wherever they are for a few days and burn a day at the show and hope to get selected from the audience.
Getting on Jeopardy involves much more... some type of interview and Q&A. WOF does some type of interview also but they don't care how dumb someone is... they just want people with a bit of personality so they are watchable. Tickets to be audience members of Jeopardy and WOF are pretty easy.

I remember back in the old days when every game show would end with the announcer saying something like "if you'd like to be on Wheel of Fortune..." and then they'd give an address or phone number for tickets. Now that info might be in the ending credits no one can read. Or I guess you could Google it.

I remember going to Hollywood so my parents could try out for games shows. My mom made it on Concentration and was a 3 day winner and my dad made it on Card Sharks.
