How do you deal with a constantly angry miserable person in your life?

What do you do when every single day is a struggle and every moment is just waiting for the next breakdown or outburst? When almost every moment of joy is immediately turned to misery?

Slip them edibles in the morning or put a couple drops of tincture in their coffee.
They’ll mellow out.

That must be tough to handle.
Makes getting up every morning not much fun I’d bet.

Ignore them as much as possible.

Is this person your wife or girlfriend?

I work with somebody like that. Absolutely no joy in that count’s miserable outlook on life. Just not a great person to be around.

Change their diapers and put on Paw Patrol.

I would make sure that person isn’t in my life

How do you know my mother-in-law?

I can see by the responses in this thread that no one is giving you practical advice, so here:
shite in their car, preferably somewhere hard to find.
If that doesn't work, frick their sister.

Slip some 1000mg full spectrum cbd oil in their food/drink. Then watch as they become happy. Ask them if they’ve had a better day than usual, then explain why. Hopefully they’ll use it regularly.

Was the person always this way, or was it a gradual or sudden change? Is this person someone you have committed to, or someone you can't/won't get away from?

Rage ? Histrionics? Endless Crazy talk ? Being intentionally isolated from family and friends? Walking on constant eggshells trying to “ manage” another person’s toxic emotions? Unconsciously and consciously anticipating outbursts and arranging your life accordingly? Feeling desperate for peace and quiet? Feeling guilty when you’ve done nothing even vaguely wrong?
You’ve come to the right place.

I sent her to boarding school. Worth every penny.

If they’re not a direct family member, do yourself a favor and rip the band-aid and be completely done with them... cut bait and fish elsewhere.
You can even ditch a wife/husband if they bring you down. Life is wayyyyy too god damned short to be “miserable by choice”
If it’s a sibling or a parent, kinda SOL

I broke up with a fantastic looking girlfriend because of this. Think Stu’s wife on The Hangover but a legit 9.
