I am at loss, seems to be an unbreakable cycle that is getting worse and worse. Y'all got any ideas?

Quit subsidizing the negative behaviors like having more children. Make attempts to educate this segment of the population on using birth control. Try to push programs that encourage home ownership and value in owning property versus the perpetual renters who trash locations and torment the law abiding people in these communities.

Unfortunately this will be difficult and no politician will propose it in our lifetimes until at some point the treasury cannot continue to pay these people. When that happens look out.

Stop propping up their lifestyle by giving them government handouts.

Essentially, stop incentivizing their lifestyle

Just give them more money. Everyone will be rich and there will be no more problems.

Cut the subsidies and entitlements. Gonna hurt for a generation or two, but better in the long run.

You know, with all the free time they have you’d think they’d be able to have their communities looking incredible

They don't feel they need to change because its not their fault they are in that situation. Until that gets fixed, it wont matter

What we see is communalism gone haywire.

Communalism can work if everyone is putting work in and contributing and using their skill set to help. Look at the Amish.

But when much of the population does nothing to contribute and simply takes, what you have is what you see in the hood. Rampant violence, blighted communities, and an overall cancerous culture.

It starts at home preferably with two parents that give a crap and want their kids to do better than they have.

Stop subsidizing the things that cause poverty. If you subsidize something you get more of it. If you devise a plan to replace marriage and family with checks from the Benevolent State, don’t be surprised when it works, and spawns unimaginable social pathology ( see Chicago).
