I have a neighbor who is not native to the area i live who cooks with very strong spices that burn my nose. Ive tried to ignore it but its getting to the point where i feel the smell of curry power is getting stained onto my walls.

I would like him to stop cooking with windows open but realize ill live next to their family for a while so want to do it the polite way.

Next time buy a house where your neighbor isn’t this close.

Way to continue to perpetuate the stereotype that all aggies are gay.

Having said that:

With my hood vent maxed out, if I'm cooking curry I can smell it in the pasture behind the house.

Maybe close your windows so it doesn't seep in.

I'd go over and ask if I can try some. Sounds like a great way to make a friend. I bet its great.

Put a fan outside your window to blow it in another direction. About the only way to do it and not insult your neighbor.

Maybe close your windows when they are cooking? Where do you live that someone cooking in their own kitchen is close enough to you that it disturbs you inside your own home?

Just move your trailer to a different spot.
