It's nothing but hipsters and frickers in tapout shirts. It's awful

I usually just enjoy hanging out with my friends outside at Marley's and and not worry about people around me like a whiny beta.

Also, stop going to the Green Room. Hipsters don't venture outside of there often.

Jefferson Street’s heyday was 2001-2005. I went a couple of years ago and was blown away by the change in the crowd.

Were you born in 87? That may be your problem, the scene is a little younger than us. But there are places you can go and find a decent crowd....I dont know them....but they exist.

There ain’t jack shite here, and this is coming from someone who has unfortunately been here for 10 years. Baton Rouge and especially New Orleans have much classier options and variety.

Get me outta here.

That wasn’t the case back in the day. More people would go out in Lafayette from Baton Rouge and other parts of the state. Jefferson Street was way different late 90’s to early 2000’s.

I uber Drive part time and I always drop off and pick up at...

Jefferson St.(With the exception of the Biergarten, Marleys and Legends it’s young kids and thugs)
Corner Bar
Grouse Room
Tap Room

With an occasional Route 92, Scandals and Murphy’s law.

Going out now consists of going to a concert or going out to dinner and having drinks. I honestly can't remember the last time the wife and I went out just to go to a bar. I'd rather have drinks with my neighbors on my back patio than hang out at a bar at 40

If you’re gonna ring up old shite, The Plaza was/is/and will always be the best bar/club in Lafayette. From 97-04 it was the place to be.

That’s pretty much us along with dinner or a concert. The last time the wife and I went bar hopping I could have taken two $100 bills, set them on fire and had more fun watching them burn....

Grouse room or Corner bar if you really want to avoid "hipsters". You will overpay for your drinks & get shitty service though. If you want to listen to live Music go to blue moon, artmosphere, warhouse 534, or feed n seed. Jefferson St. is ghetto as hell besides Green room, JSP, or Biergarden. I'm interested... What bars did you visit that were all hipsters and tapouts?
