How do I stop one cat from constantly hissing at another cat?

Scenario: The ole' lady (pics below) has two rescue cats. One is three years old (girl) and the other is a five month old kitten (has a wee wee). The older can't can't stand the younger one.
She hisses ALL the time, but the younger one is pretty spry and doesn't take any crap AND likes to play (so of course they fight like cats and dogs).
Is there some form of red pepper solution that exists where I can just rub the older cats head in it and the problem goes away (like with labs)? Suggestions?

You can try to keep them separated. Other than that, you kinda have to just get used to it. The older one may grow more tolerant with time, and the younger less rambunctious. As long as they aren't actually injuring each other, I wouldn't worry about it.

It will stop once the older cat gets used to the younger one. Though sometimes cats are stubborn and the older one may never accept the younger one. Either way it will quite down once the younger cat learns its boundaries around the older cat.

Buy a dog; either both cats will team up on the dog or the dog will kill one of the cats......either way problem solved.

I'm a creepy cat owner... Took in a little orphan from a shelter last summer, she's about 7 or 8 months now and recently cleaned up a stray that I had been feeding bc she's pregnant. It was a BITCH at first with the hissing and slapping at each other. The only thing I can figure is time, in time they get to where they don't hate each other as much. I've had both in the house about four weeks now and it's only finally calming down.
And as I say that the baby is chasing the old one around like a bitch...

Kill one, or preferably both.

We use a air spray bottle. The kind for cleaning keyboards, electronics etc. to keep our cat off our counters. He's terrified of it. All we have to do is walk towards it and he hauls arse.

Put both in a cotton sack with a cinder block and throw off nearest bridge.

cats are like women. The one cat hates the other now but one day they will probably be besties

Now we know there is a market for ball gags for cats.
Who wants to cash in on this tremendous void in the industry?

Let them fight. One will finally establish themselves as alpha

I've always relied on the ancient and deadly art of the nunchaku. With mixed results, to be honest.
