Man I flipped around the cable news channels this morning and You could sense they were hoping for more

The media really loves calamity and mass damage and destruction.

The only way it wasn't catastrophic was in categorization at landfall. It's been pretty damn catastrophic otherwise.

Is this a Trump strategy? Invent shite to create this narrative of the bad old media?

And I'd say with the rain they are getting, it's still pretty fricking catostrophic.

No one is disappointed and in fact it is doing what was expected. The damage will be done from flooding if it stalls/slows and continues to dump rain. This is what everyone said.

The amount of rainfall from the storm is going to be around the same as the rainfall from Harvey last year.

Was Harvey not catastrophic?

I think you sensed that you wanted them to want more. I'm sure personally they're quite happy it's not destroying more people's lives

I mean it's sickening that people are acting like this storm isn't a catastrophe. Harvey wasn't knocking buildings over day after day. It was just that it dumped 4+ feet of water on one of the biggest cities in the country over a period of 10 days or so.

I'm happy the country prepared better for this one. Get people out of harms way, hope it isn't as bad as others and if it is, at least they will be safe.
