I filed first.

In all seriousness, when she would get off work at 5:30 or 6:00 PM and not show up at the house until 11:00 PM without a word of explanation or apology. I think the final straw was waking up at 3AM, going downstairs, finding her gone and the back door wide open, calling the cops, and then she comes sauntering down the street from the (closed) pool.

And then she had the gall to be pissed that I was concerned for her well-being.

I sent my ex a real time picture of us laughing over her message. ... It was satisfying, as that fricking bitch deserved worse.

A few years back when I was just starting with my current gf (no pics), someone found my inactive bumble profile, screen shot it, made up a fake instagram name, sent that screenshot to my gf, then deleted their fake instagram name to cover their tracks. Current gf was like "wtf bitches are crazy don't worry about it". I showed her the account had been inactive for a while and deleted it.

I don't think my ex wife knows what a bumble is, and the one serious relationship I had in between isn't that vindictive, so I was very curious who did it. Also I no longer care.

What's that proverb about "virtuous and capable"? Yeah. Keep the good ones when they come along and thank them for being cool. It's a big deal.

she had a lot of narcissistic tendencies.

I mean, I knew before this because we had already split up before. She begged me to give her another chance and that she’d work on things. She was trying to convince me to take her back even though I was seeing the same red flags/recurring issues that caused me to end it the first time. I was driving us back from a date and we were discussing it all. She thought it was a good idea to tell me she had other guys giving her attention and it made things easier for me. Once I heard that, told her we’re not getting back together. Her first instinct was to grab a prescription bottle out of her purse and swallow as many pills as possible before I realized what was going on and wrestled it away from her. Then she took her seatbelt off and tried to throw herself out of the moving car. Managed to yank her back in and convince her things would be ok before dropping her off at her parents’ so they could deal with her.

She called weeks later to “apologize” aka beg me again while she was dating someone else. I didn’t answer the phone (strange voicemail) and have avoided her at all costs ever since

I guess not. You bailed and left your family to deal with the fallout.

The cuffent girlfriend and I had both lied on where we were at so we could be together and have some privacy.

I guess she was right to worry

Ex was more lesbian than bi after a 7 or so years. Was real fun while it lasted.

Amiable part, I understood the appeal of women over dudes tbh...

When I thought she was going through a lesbian fling with a fellow nurse, only to find out she was actually banging a doctor, who is a married father of 9 and a grandfather.

True story.

ETA: Honestly, the doc may post here. If so, thanks for doing me a HUGE favor, doc. Your wife probably doesn't appreciate it though.

When I realized I would rather jerk off and play video games than have sex with her.

Also when she tried to put words in my mouth at my best friend’s funeral.

I packed my shite and moved the frick out of her house. She tried desperately for 2 weeks to get me back. When she realized that I was done, she immediately started dating some new guy, and he moved in with her within 10 months

Also though, I should’ve ended it the minute she started trying to pit my friends against me. I was too stupid to realize what she was doing. The bitch was fricking psycho and manipulative as hell.

When I was excited for the sex but dreaded actually spending time with her afterwards. According to her friend she was gonna drop the L bomb the day I broke it off....oops

The above was a rebound from a 6 year relationship..... we fricking hated each but had been together long enough to keep settling, when she broke it off I felt anger for 5 mins followed by relief lol

Feel the hell out of this.... the girl that I was with for 6 years mentioned above was like this. I looked forward to night where she couldn't come out with me and my freinds...it was my only time to really cut loose and enjoy myself.

Looking back the signs were there that she had severe mental issues. She was co-dependent on her parents to a sick degree...so much so it was an insane rush to get married, have kids and be just like them...when we were still in college. She literally went from asking me when I was going to finally propose one night to breaking up with me 3 days later. About a month or 2 after that she was dating a new guy. They were married in less than a year and cranked out the first kid a few months after the wedding. All of her pictures are just her, her kids and her parents....ole baw is no where to be found. He was irrelevant to her dream.... easily the most deadly bullet I ever dodged.

When she started telling my extended family that we were going to be engaged soon and she was moving half way across the country to move in with me and we hadn't had any of these conversations with each other yet.

I’m not speaking for the man, but there are those that deal with crazy, and there are others who quite literally deal with next-level, undiagnosed, bat shite crazy that knows exactly how to hide it in public.

Hope you never run into the latter, because those motherfrickers will ruin your life.
In today's society, there is no such thing as a "bat shite crazy" woman with an "undiagnosed" clinical mental health issue. If anything, they’re overdiagnosed, on average.

Seems like we have this type of thread at least once a week. Is there someone out here in TD land looking to drum up counseling business?

Anyway my previous wife (no pics, don't want to ruin your weekend) and I dated for 5 years before we were married and were married for 15 years. One day she would not let me touch her, the prior week she avoided me, would not make eye contact. I checked our cell phone log and found that she had been calling multiple past boyfriends all over SE Louisiana. She saw me doing it and denied she had made the calls(some were like for 45 minutes each). Then she said that I had to go, I was too boring and she wanted to have fun. I did not want to spend 40 years in Angola, so I packed and left. Sometimes it is hard to get over the feeling that I had been robbed. She got the house and the new car.
