Got a finger caught in a brake press.
I had this happen too, the guy assisting me and operating the controls was a jackass.
Weirdest part is it didn't hurt. Smashed everything so quickly that there was little pain at first.

I needed stitches on my big toe after accidentally kicking some sort of hook mounted to the concrete.

Never had a broken bone.
I slept with one of those weighted blankets. It was heavy. After a week I could not walk or stand. My lower back was messed up.

Sat down one Saturday night, popped my first beer and proceeded to start watching LSU vs South Carolina football game. We were painting our living room and my wife wanted to rehang the curtains at a commercial break. I used a dining room chair to help rehang. Step off chair and it tumbled over. Landed on my right foot breaking it and causing some ligature damage. On crutches for 12 weeks.

Ruptured 2 discs in my lower back. We cut down a tree and was putting the wood in the trailer. The last piece was the biggest and instead of turning with my feet, I just twisted at my waist and boom. Down like a bag of rocks.

Going through some supercross style whoops my cousin built on the track out in the pasture. Got out of control. Almost looped out. Came down straight legged into the face of one of them with the full weight of the dirtbike behind me. Could hardly walk. They loaded my bike up, I drove home. Called off work the next couple days. Went to the doc and requested an mri and they wouldn't do it. The doc looked at it, pulled on it and told me that if I had a torn ACL it would be dislocating. Thought I was being a puss so I went home and called off the rest of the week. Went back 8 months later and got an x ray, ct, and mri. I had partially torn lcl, mcl, ACL was gone. Torn meniscuis all the way around. Cartilage chipping and a compression fracture on my tib. Went in for surgery. Needless to say I was pretty PO'ed at the hospital and myself for not going to a different hospital in the beginning.

How Did You Get Your Worst Injury?
Fell in love with my HS gf. She went to a different college than me and met someone else.

Thrown off a horse. 4 broken vertebrae, 3 broken ribs and a ruptured adrenal gland.
Stayed in the hospital overnight and they turned me loose with a corset for the broken ribs. They said “you’ll heal Ok.” They were right, no issues in 10 years.

Dislocated my shoulder during a football game my senior year, turned in to a subluxation, which means in plain English that it frequently dislocated again after that. Was advised to have surgery after the season, but thought I was bullet proof and never did. It hurts every goddamn day now.

Playing pickup basketball I blocked a shot and landed on top of the guys foot and rolled my ankle. I remember the arch of my foot touching the side of my leg. That’s how out of socket it was. I saw it and starting panicking and hitting my foot on the floor and my ankle popped back into place. That was a painful injury.

Flipped a 4 wheeler when I was 13. Sliced right through my calf muscle. 22 stitches later and crutches for 6 weeks.

Freshman year of high school my brother and I ran into each other head on on dirtbikes in a blind curve on a trail. AirMed came pick us up in the helicopter and all that good stuff.
My brother had a broken arm and a cut on his forehead.
I had a broken femur and my helmet, which no doubt saved our lives, slammed down on my nose, shattered it, and cracked my upper jack parallel with my teeth. Had to surgery to get a rod and 3 bolts put into my leg, then a few days later once the swelling went down another surgery to put too plates and screws in my face and some temporary plates to prop up my nose. A few weeks later and I kept having knee pain and they realized I had a bone shard wedged behind my knee, they left it and to this day I can only flex that knee about 80%.

Circa 2008 running an industrial lathe, cutting stainless steel. The tool I was using cut a steep angle. Stainless steel tends to make a "tumble weed" instead of clean chips like carbon steel. The machine had a conveyor that moved chips from the tool area to a bin where it was taken away for recycling.
Well, the tumble-steel would get stuck every now and then, so we had a gaffe that we used to pull the clogs out. I inadvertently got one of the "strings" of the tumble weed caught under my index finger as I tightened my grip to pull.
It cut through leather gloves like they weren't there and filleted my finger from inside the first knuckle up to the tip. Didn’t even feel it. I only noticed when the inside of my glove felt wet from blood. I wrapped it up for that shift then superglued it shut when I got home after the 12 hr shift.
To this day I cannot feel much except slight pressure in that finger tip.

Shocked by the majority of the people posting on this thread have not listed vehicular accidents as their worst injury.
Most are sports related.
If you posted on this thread that your worst injury was a high school sport, consider yourself blessed.

A friend and I were practicing at a local track when he fricked up. He had a KTM 250 and we were side by side on a rhythm section (multiple table tops in a row) where we were jumping top to top. The last one his foot came off the peg and and hit the ground in front of the peg...it caught and broke both bones in his lower leg. I was next to him and heard them break
