I majored in Engineering but joined the Geology club ,they had women and did fun things.

Its kind of late.. If you started your freshman year sitting by the same person in every class and strike up a conversation about the class then as the class goes on you just evolve your relationship with that person.
If you have 4 classes a semester, that's at least 4 new people a semester, but more than likely you become cool with some people who will introduce you to other people and you build a network.
Its always a good idea to introduce new people you become cool with with people you already hang out with.. As you do that, they build networks that in some ways become part of your network.

I had three friend groups
BIOS- Met a few people at bios that I stuck with throughout my entire time at LSU. Also met several of their friends during this time
UREC- All of my friends/colleagues I worked with there
Camp- I worked at a summer camp and met a few other students there. They became close too.
