I think it was when I was in high school and was following the Joe McKnight signing day decision.

Didn’t create an account until a couple years later.

Found it in an online search back when I first lived overseas in 2003. Didn't sign up until I moved back stateside 4 years later.

You do realize that LSU football is about as relevant as USCw football right now don't you?

At least our up swing lasted longer.

And didn’t have our peak period erased from the record books due to rules violations.

I was following the news after Prince Alton insisted on getting his self shot. Googled something and ran across a Gravy thread. Been reading Gravy’s , HH ‘s and the Pet Food Nut’s stuff since. I used to wonder how men could get hooked watching the soaps everyday. Now I read their shite to get a drama fix and to shake my head. But the best part of the OT is how fast news breaks. The OT reporters are worldwide.

Always been a huge Tiger fan, started reading TD when we were making our 2011 undefeated run, I was in 8th grade at the time. Almost 7 years and 4 accounts later, nothing’s been the same

It was probably LSUFreak that made it known to me.

Was reading a recap of an Alabama/LSU football game on Al.com, and in the comments section, one poster mentioned the LSU fanbase was "losing their minds over on the SECRant". Googled SECRant...voilà!

How did you find Tigerdroppings?
In 2003, LSU seemed potentially on it's way to the best football season in my lifetime. So I was looking for a good LSU football message board. Tigerdroppings came up in my 'AltaVista' or 'Lycos' search.

In the meantime, I'd been having fun with photoshops on Oklahoma's SoonerFans site. At that time SoonerFans was the best farkboard on the internet. They were brutal to their opponents. It was a one-sided affair. They grew accustomed to embarrassing opponents on messageboards.

Later that year, when we lined up with Oklahoma for the national title game, it was different. We had quite the LSU-OU Fark Off. We gave at least as good as we received. That was a first for the OU folks. Afterwards Chicken&Co formed the Fark Board here.

Fun times.

For some reason, I got curious about "Martello Castle" in Lake Borgne where I use to fish and camp from back in the mid to late 60's and found a link to this site.

That was my first post and it was a shame to see that old fort in ruins now. I had spent many days out there fishing off a covered area behind it with lots of lights on pilings heading out into the lake to catch fish at night.

The thing that interests me most is this site is almost exclusively about La. and things I've been familiar with for ages.
