We do this every time this thread comes up, but the ACT measures what you know in various categories. A typical test in school measures what you can memorize.
Memorization is basically useless for engineering tests past freshman year.

Excellent job getting a perfect score in a section that doesn't exist
Social studies was a section prior to 1989.

I scored a 36 and was all set to go to MIT until I read an OT thread where it was explained to me that MIT graduates with 4.0 GPAs really don't know shite and are janitors at companies owned by LSU grads with 2.5 GPAs so I retook the test and made sure I bombed my way to a 19.

I'll take your word for it. It's possible he got a 18 composite while scoring higher in math/science too.

25 as a junior.. apparently good enough to get basically pre approved admissions to the 4 schools I was looking at attending

I don't disagree, some truly stupid people walked across the stage with me. Not sure what their ACT scores were though.

27 overall.
33 in English.
Don’t let me teach your kids math.

Yes, it's a shitty thread much like most of yours (except for the animal threads)

Whatever it was in May 1968....I know I had a 36 high and a 19 low (math) with the other scores inbetween

That was like the second year the ACT came out. Nice.

31. My 18 in math brought down the 35 and 33 I got in the language parts
Nice lie, bro. The ACT is scored by summing the section scores and dividing by 4. To score 31 composite you need a total score of 122 or higher (because they round up). So, the 3 scores you provided total 86. Meaning you’d need a 36 on the science section to get rounded up to 31. Of course, if you made a 36 on science, you’d be bragging about that instead of worse scores on the language arts sections.

LOL, I forgot this is the OT. Every swinging dick in here got at least 30 on the ACT, is a millionaire and married to a supermodel.

Well, I did. Sorry not sorry.

I guessed 3 of 4 accurately, fwiw.
Posted on 5/17/18 at 8:46 pm to slackster
Math was definitely my high score. Can’t remember the exact breakdown. Too long ago.

There are multiple folks in here admitting to scoring under 30, so I’m not sure what crawled up your arse.
