I got an 18 my junior year. Got me into LSU and tops so never took it again. I never did well on standardized tests. Made a solid 3.25 gpa in college so I figure the ACT doesn’t mean much as far as how you perform in college.

Now I'm glad I didn't. Losing the scholarship would have sucked worse than just paying loans back.

Yeah, the ACT measures your intelligence. Your GPA is a better measure of how hard you work, particularly if/when the ACT is lower than the GPA would suggest.

I got a 24. Only took it once. But back in the mid '70s it didn't matter what score you got. If you were a HS grad, you were accepted to LSU.

7th grade I scored a 30.. I was pissed. Took it again my junior year and scored a 34. I could have scored a 36, but I didn't want to take it again.

I can’t believe that either. I majored in Electrical Engineering. Very complex material. Would be hard to believe a non intelligent person could pull that off.
