Wal-Mart is a life saver. Without what they brought to the table, everyday shite would cost a lot more and there’d be fewer options.
Plus, besides the HEB Marketplace there are very few places you can go to at 2:00 AM and buy a gallon of milk and lawnmower at the same time. And get them for a decent price.

My family spends $1,000 per month there easily

We do the grocery pickup every two weeks. We go to local stores for meat and produce.
Pretty much the same for me. I go and get non-perishables once every couple weeks but our local meat markets are very competitively priced and have a much better selection...Plus they’ll cut anything any way you want.

That is Kroger and you are being ripped off every time you shop. Sad that you are proud about it and would even admit shopping at that shithole.
I buy stuff that is on sale at Kroger. If what I need isn't on sale it would be just as cheap to buy it at a convenience store. Kroger had 12-packs over $5 years ago. First time I ever saw that ridiculous crap.
Congrats on wasting a lot of money. I always wondered why my huge Kroger that has 12 shoppers in it on a busy day stays open. Thanks!!!!
I know it's owned by Kroger. Doesn't change the fact that they're everywhere here and it's far more convenient to go down the street than it is to drive across town to Walmart. If you love Walmart and it makes more sense for you to shop there than good for you.

O/U on how many people lie about not going to Walmart in this thread: 50

Do not buy meat from Wal Mart. Now a miss Goldy chicken is ok but don't ever buy ground meat or pork. It's pickled.

My. You're very passionate about grocery stores.
Well we do have HEB which is the best and most liked grocery store ever. So yes, I do know my grocery stores and you shop at the very worst and don't mind admitting that you waste a ton of money doing it. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I buy stuff at Fred's. We have no Walmart, it went out of business 5 years ago.
It's like a better Target.

This thread is full of idiots proud to have not walked in a Walmart in 3 whole years
I try to support local businesses if I can. I'm willing to pay a little more to help local.
Like the milfs who are willing to pay 10% extra to go to Targét instead of WM
However if it's 30%+ or something like that, then I'll stop by WM when it's convenient/not crowded and stock up

Target >>> Fred's
But Fred's is a very convenient neighborhood place if you have one. Kinda like the old Woolworth's/TG&Y

That is one thing that I will not buy from Walmart. Their pork chops turn the grease yellow until it cooks out. They have a centralized meat market where they cut all the meat and deliver it to the stores so what you see is what you get.
My buddy David at FoodTown hooks me up on meat. Plus they have the cheapest meat around here. WalMart never has sales on meat that I am aware of.

Kroger and Albertsons...I don’t know how they stay in business. Albertsons especially. You go to stores other than Walmart and you know you’re going to pay a little more...walking into an Albertsons is almost comical. Everything in the store is 60% more expensive than Walmart. You have to be a complete idiot to go in there for more than one or two things and even then you could probably get it cheaper at a convenience store.

I never buy meat or produce from WalFart. I do buy soap and toothpaste there but was burned several years ago when the steaks I bought were black on the bottom side and my strawberries started growing fungus before I was able to get home.
