Heard on the radio driving to/from dentist in Shreveport this past Monday: Bossier highest sales tax in state at 10%, Caddo @ 9.6%.

Makes me soooo happy to live 1 mile from the state line so no matter what Gov. Honor Code taxes to spend I can avoid it with a very short drive.

Statewide,m if one were to dig into councils, sheriffs office, mayor office, parish presidents, police chiefs, etc I would say 75% are corrupt.
And the white places are just as guilty as the black places for the most part

It's not necessarily corrupt for the sake of being corrupt. It's corrupt due to incompetence.

I've heard Plaquemines parish is pretty tight, but I don't have any first hand knowledge
