So far I haven't heard anybody say a parish or city except for terrebonne. That was only because of the sales tax which gets voted on by the people. So there are no corrupt mayors or police chiefs?

Ascension Parish is run by the Marcello Crime Family. It's sitting Parish President (a blood relative to Carlos) is currently under indictment for bribing a candidate for Gonzales City Council to get out of the race.
