How come we have so many activist and protestor groups now?

You got the BLM, rainbow/trans, abortion, immigration, need equality groups. Then there’s the climate change group, people protesting oil glueing themselves to the road. Meat activists, people pouring milk in grocery stores, tomato soup on paintings.

I don’t know where the inspirations come from but theses people are dead set on “changing the world and make it a better place”. Maybe it’s from TV shows, movies, social media, or just a boring life. These people couldn’t even change their neighborhood for the better. But I guess if you hold some self righteous sign or chant something for a few hours, you can go home pat themselves in the back and think “I was part of history”.

The cold hard truth is that most of us can’t change the world. The world is too big, complicated and always changing. If you want to change the world, stop being an arse hole and maybe would listen to you. And if you want to protest, make it fun and immediately impactful like go to Todd Graves house and tell him his chicken fingers needs to be bigger.

Social media has allowed people to form their own tribes/cliques with common interests. Political activists can connect together and form their own online militia.

Social media has allowed the radicalization of politics and enabled “circlejerk” spaces where everyone has the same opinion, and anyone who has an opposing opinion is shunned or downvoted. This site has the same problem.

Because of the internet. With that said, I'm not sure why you're focused on liberal groups. You think Moms for Liberty gets off the ground without the internet?

They’re funded by the government and major corporations through money laundering, grants, charity tax breaks, and suit and settle bs by federal courts and administrative agencies.

100% this. Thirty years ago if some dude had a mental disorder that made him dress up as a female and want people to think of him as such, he was pretty much by himself. Today, enough of them can band together to pull enough sympathy to get their mental disorder considered to be a normal, healthy "life choice" in various circles.

Add to this that there are PACs, SuperPACs, businesses and wealthy individuals who actually fund/donate to these groups (to allow them to coalesce somewhere to protest as a larger group) and you have what we see today.

Probably because Moms for Liberty isn't advocating for the destruction of the country.

I would argue that enough people wouldn't have seen a need for a group like Moms for Liberty without the ability for the LGBTQ+ANUS crowd gather together in numbers great enough (whether virtual or in-person) to begin pushing their "gender fluidity" bullshite in schools.

There’s an RIP Ashli Babbitt thread on the Poli-board right now, so I’d say ignorance breeds more ignorance

Everybody loves being a victim. Sad!

Ah, so the question isn't why there are so many activist and protestor groups now; the question is why there are so many activist and protestor groups now who are wrong.

My bad, didn't realize this was a political thread

I dont know but I just watched "Alone in the Wilderness", a documentary about Dick Proenneke that moved to Alaska at 50 years old. He built a cabin and lived in a remote place for 30 years. Documented and filmed a good bit of it. Man, I crave a little more of that in my life. Too much bullshite going on with these activists.

I agree, everyone hates white liberals. But they have rights also, probably more rights than anyone else

Let's talk briefly about Obama's Presidential Library that has no books. It's function is to train activists etc. They call it an educational center.
