I’ve come to the conclusion that most of these data are leaked out by Disney directly to 3rd party boards.

Raising prices will do nothing. All the fatties that pay $500 to get their kid’s hair done like a princess are paying with credit cards.

The last time I was there some lady on a scooter had a horn on it, which she would honk when she got impatient with the people trying to walk in front of her.
That’s my GamGam. You better stay TF outta her way or you’re going down.

No doubt!

Think I’ve been 7-8 times in the last 2-3 years.

I’ve started wearing hiking boots in the parks.

I'm sure this has been said, but I'm not interested enough to read the whole thread...

I understand that Disneyworld if a fun place to bring the kids, but after a time or two, it's time to expose them to other things of the world.

I saw on some chick's fb page that she had been to DW 39 times and wants to go more. I wonder where else in this beautiful world she has been?

And it's not like DW is a cheap vacation. For that same money you can visit any city in the US.

C'mon folks. Don't be so lazy to hit the DW button. Go to NY, SF, Yellowstone, The Keys, Grand Canyon, or even L.A.

Heck, I'd rather go to Branson to watch some shows and their pretty cool park than DW.

Carry on with your improvement of Disney.

Offer a place for men to sit down, have some liquor and get away from wife & kids. Kind of like a ‘Hooters’ in the park.

I mean, frick. It’s hot, expensive, and the fricking scooters are everywhere, on your arse all day We need a break to go on there.

For God’s sake, a syrupy $10 coke under a fake tree, sitting on a jagged rock is not a way to rest up for the night fireworks.

I’m surprised it took 5 pages to get this.

These comments make it really easy to see who saves up for a vacation every 5-10 years or maybe just go to Destin every summer. I’ve brought my girls to Disney once a year since they were born and they’re 19 and 22 now. We’re going in July before the Star Wars nerds show up. I’ve also taken them to every continent but 1. You can do both.

Get rid of motorized scooters. If you're too fat to get around, you shouldn't be at Disney World.

You are obviously not familiar with the Disney cult

I've been to each park. The only one I could tolerate was Animal Kingdom. But even that was hot and miserable with too many people.

So many fat people with no kids all over in scooters. It's gotten really bad in the last five years.

All the money seems to be in the Asian parks. They have dark rides that have tech that nothing in the US has.

Magic Kingdom, IDK.

Epcot has tons of people come for the festivals they have and to drink around the world.

Disney has done as much to pack the parks when it's "slow" as any 3rd party. Food and wine in the fall when it was traditionally slow, room discounts, free dining, marathon weekends etc. They know how to fill the rooms.

People forget how global Disney World is until you spend some time there during one of their “off” times. They know when Americans traditionally don’t vacation so they’ll offer discounts, free dining, etc, to the South Americans and Europeans. My wife and I met a couple from England a few trips ago that were on holiday for 25 days. They were spending 20 of those days in Disney because the longer they booked the cheaper it got. Plus they get airline discounts that aren’t offered in the states. Disney knows how to keep the turnstiles moving.

Took my 5 year old a few weeks ago and had a fantastic experience. It exceeded my expectations at every level. She is at peak princess stage now, it was absolutely perfect. The wife and I are already planning on taking her again.
