I’ve personally known 3 women who had hysterectomies - my first mother-in-law, my current wife, and my best friend’s wife (his divorce will be final next Monday). All 3 lost their frickin’ minds afterwards.

Ok... so. I personally just went through this.
After trying for a kid and taking meds to be fertile something happened to my wife. Her hormones got wacked up and she started to bleed almost daily for over a year. The only fix was a hysto.
We go months with no hooking up which causes stress.
She finally gets the Hysterectomy and during recovery. She's like a different person. We decided to take separate vacations. Me to Amsterdam to make up for a year of almost no secs. Her on a school trip I refused to go on. That was the final nail.
Physically it was never right again. She seemed like someone else. Very odd.
We got in an argument. I realized I was unhappy for years and asked for a divorce.
Six weeks later she's in a full on relationship.
She wanted nothing but her car. And actually moved out during a weekend I was out the country.
Good for her. She gained weight and has extra chins now. Where I got below 200# for the first time since the Clinton administration.
These few months single. Have me questioning why I even let myself get locked down.
Had it not been for the Hysterectomy I'd still be in a loveless marriage.
But the next guy likely enjoys it.
