Amazon drivers for me are pretty ok. The gal that seems to deliver here the most is pretty smart with where she puts the items. And not just for me. Never had an issue with anything.

Regular FedEx gal is pleasant as can be too.

By far the best is the young kid who delivers for UPS. He’s realized a bunch of the stuff is for me rebuilding an old truck and makes it a point to get it out of sight and behind my fence. A few times when I’m home he’s asked to see the progress on the truck.

Now... USPS person is a different story. She apparently has no idea how to match the envelopes with where she is. I’m pretty sure her philosophy is it’s all good if some of the digits match or it’s at least on the right street.

That said, I can tell you with every confidence that delivery drivers do not know what’s in the package.

I used to think this, but i've never had a package not delivered, until i started getting these $200 gift cards.

0-3 on these, yet i've had something delivered the day before or day after.

Your right, but it just seems really shady.

You know how hard it is to fire a unionized government employee?

They have zero motivation to do anything other than the absolute minimum to not get fired - which is very very minimal.

They caught several of them(usps riff raff) throwing peoples mail into creeks and dumpsters, and not one of them was fired.

This would be a good spin off thread. I noticed that a lot of people, Amazon drivers included, think it's cool to stop wherever the frick they want as long as they put their hazard lights on.

I delivered for Amazon for a lil over a month. They make a big deal about not driving into customers driveways or reversing it all. They tell drivers it's better to block the road to make a 2 minute delivery.

Also I know for a fact they don't do any type of training or some type of road test to see if folks can drive. Folks get hired on the spot, with never driving anything bigger than their lil honda civic. In that short time I was there, there had to be like 5 people who got into accidents. Driving into ditches, mailboxes, parked cars, etc.

My last few packages have been under the carport opened. All items in the box though because it is stupid stuff like a book or a shower curtain. No way would I let them deliver anything of value or that they could use in Baton Rouge. Makes life super inconvenient that I can't have Christmas gifts and things delivered.

Amazon's not bad. They are actually the only ones who make a decent attempt of concealing the packages and they actually ring the doorbell sometimes.

One claimed package went missing during route, other 2 claimed packages were delivered, only problem, I was home both days, in living room, watching tv and Dog never barked, and she sits in window and barks at everyone.

Sounds like the growing pains of a major company.

nope. They don’t own those vans. The vans run over and kill children and Amazon has no liability, Even though they give these shell companies unrealistic schedules to meet. Legal? Yes. Ethical. Hell no.

Same, amazon drivers in my highly populated neighborhood full of little kids, drive like idiots flying down the streets and around corners. They get out the van with the radio blaring. A few weeks ago, one driver opened the door to deliver a package and the radio was blasting every curse word imaginable. He left the door open and can running while he dropped the package off. It doesn’t bother me personally but we have a ton of kids around here who do not need to hear that shite.

I almost got t-boned by one in my neighborhood at a four way stop a few months ago. He never even tapped his brakes. Some young guy staring at his phone.

Should have took one for your team baw. You know they've got settlement money. Plus if you're expecting and anticipating the wreck it ups your survival chance.

Amazon subs that shite out, so they get away with no responsibility.

There is a case that could change all that. Parents of kid killed are going after Amazon, courts allow it, Amazon will end up having to change their delivery service immediately.

They know these subcontractors are employing dumbasses
