Yeah they are a shite show it seems.
Went to my apartment and have no problem. It’s cool I will just grab a few clean clothes and head back to my brothers. I am informed on the way up the stairs that there was an issue with the fire sprinklers in the apartments on the 3rd floor. I open my door to water dripping in buckets and my carpet wet. JOY. Luckily maintenance was working on it but idk when I can really go back.

This is a fricking shite show

Houston Methodist West and Houston Methodist Baytown are without water. Per spox: “We are managing fine but we’ve had to truck in water, cancel surgeries and use bottled water for drinking.” Follow LINK for updates. (I just lost power.)

We live in WoodCreek Reserve(FM 1463/Kingsland). Power came back on about 30 minutes ago. We must be rolling now because that was right at two hours.

We’re at Gaston/Cinco. Same time we lost it, so we’re on the same grid

The problem is a bunch of politicians are throwing their nuts around.
Since power isn’t regulated in Texas it gives the ability for suppliers to supply the power when they choose.
That is great for 5hose suppliers to ramp up and supply in the summer when demand is high. Some of those suppliers completely shut down for the winter because the cost/profit ratio is low. So ERCOT and the cronies are trying pander to the Sylvester Turner’s and the green energy crew.
Go look at the major outage map around Houston and compare that to the red/blue voting map.

Montgomery county is one of the most red counties in all of Texas. Tens of thousands are still out here.

This is so strange. ERCOT'S map with actual usage keeps dropping, are they cutting power to more regions? There's some really fishy shite going on.

Look at this shite.

You see Abbott’s press conference? He is extremely pissed off and is calling for ERCOT’s head. Lawsuits and this will get ugly. I know he dropped the ball a little in the pandemic but he will fight for Texas. He’s the type of guy we need as governor in these times.
Side note, Tomball still no power but I am sitting at my kitchen table watching the linemen work on the pole. It’s pretty cool to see.

Been over 50 hours for me. No power or no water. I’m thinking of getting out of town this afternoon.
