We had power in Timbergrove for 10 minutes before the rolling blackout hit. Center Point lineman said could be 15 minutes to 12 hours. Another night in the cold

Did y’all just lose it? We were on from 2ish to just now. I’m in cottage grove. Seems like we’re getting 4-5 hours on and then off for 6 or so.

In Katy, we got it back at 8:17am after 48 hours without it. Shut off again at 5:49pm. Still off.

Oof that sucks man. We went out Monday morning back have been getting it back in several hour chunks enough to keep it from getting super cold. This shite needs to end because I’m running out of clothes that don’t stink. I have ice chests full of snow I shoveled to save food.

Hoping we get some water going. Although I’m not looking forward to maybe finding a busted pipe when it does.

Went almost 48hrs without power here in the Heights. Came back this morning around 2am, and off again by 11am. At least we got to warm the house some. No water either. Freaking ridiculous.

We are practically neighbors then.

We live in Cypresswood off Ella.

eta: hang in there NIH. I hope you and your family are able to keep warm brother.

I mean I feel like there’s almost no avoiding it at this point if you have frozen pipes, but maybe go slow and start turning on water features on the interior of the house first. Our burst pipe was an exterior copper line above our kitchen nook with no access not insulated for whatever fricking reason

Timbergrove here, west of TC jester. We were off since Monday morning and got it back around 2:20pm today. Went off just before 8pm. House is warm again so can’t complain too much.

Thanks man. Getting my hopes up after 60 hours of no power was such a gut punch.

Yeah I’m with you. Haven’t found anything yet and maybe enjoying the last bit of being blissfully ignorant.

Can anyone see if downtown is still lit up like a candle like last night?

I saw Platypus is opening tomorrow. I hope more bars and breweries follow. There’s zero chance of meaningful work this week. Let me drink and forget my apartment is 58 degrees and dark.

Downtown was lit up on the news.

It was completely dark from Fuqua to Nasa road.

I do. I was out for 36 hours then have been on for about 4-5 at a time and off for 6. So doing well relative to others in that regard. Water is pretty much out.
