Do you really think they fired all those workers? Without a doubt they just relocated them to another one of their restaurants.

Louisiana Mexican restaurants could stand to learn a thing or two from Texas Mexican restaurants.

Which one is the BBQ one? Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. The sauce they put on it was gritty. Not suitable for donation to the dog pound.
Pappas Barbeque, which wasn't on the hit list. The one that's closet to me is off of 59S near Hillcroft. I'm not big on their barbecue, but I really like the smoked wings that they only prepare on weekends.

Oh no, without tacos what will the “baws” that had to move to Texas just to find a job brag about?

I’m surprised they’ve survived as long as they have since there are better restaurants in those food types that are way fricking cheaper.

Man, announcing the closing of a Pappadeaux on Juneteenth is a tough one

Rouge you still living in the Houston area or back in Louisiana?

And they own Lubys and Fudruckers. All those will be shutting down too, but permanently.
Yia Yia Mary’s is really good, expensive but good. I feel that one will survive

I do not like the fajitas at Lupe. People In Texas swear by them but I wasn’t a big fan.

Then there’s Ninfas on Navigation, Escalantes, and tons of others.
And, to be fair, Superior is quite good.
