Houston appears to be on fire. Or it’s the media I don’t think this one is media?

Two cops dead in 24 hours. One shot the other just ran drown by some drunk bitch while working a second job.
They released images today showing the front of the shot officers vehicle. During a traffic stop it appears John fricking Wick killed him by the pattern of bullets. Perhaps some were shots exiting the vehicle from the officer returning fire.
Houston just appears to be a pit now. Unless you are in certain pockets of Houston. Even then NOLA just had a detective (I think) killed in the middle of the Galleria.
It’s still better than NOLA but damn. The flow out of the burbs and back into the city seems perilous. Don’t know that I’d want to leave the burbs and go into Rice or West U or Memorial or (name an area I can’t think of right now).
Rant over.
Edited to clean up title a bit.

The amount of road rage deaths happening in Houston is ridiculous. I have a friend who lives there and 3 instances he knew someone dying due to road rage this past year. And I know one of those 3.

Don’t disagree. I’m on the border. In Harris but 2 minutes I could be in FB.

So one cop dead and one pizza delivery guy who also worked as a cop? I don't see the fire.

I live in Katy now (just moved) but lived in Harris county for the last year and a half. My little pocket where I lived off of 290 had property crimes and homeless everywhere, but when out and about, I felt much safer than I do in Baton Rouge. Maybe I just don't hear about all the violent crime because I don't know a lot of people here and think the Houston news is garbage so I don't really watch it. But the Galleria area, the Museum District, Theatre District, I-10 Corridor, all of that is extremely upkept and is a nice area to ride a bike or attend events. I love it here and grew to hate everything about Baton Rouge and especially NOLA.

Yup.
Seems like ABC13 has led off the 6AM news every morning this past week with a cop murder or some double homicide. Of course, they are partially responsible for cop murders and the massive crime spike because of their gaslighting the last 3 years, but they’ll never admit that.
I actually saw Lina Hildago crying during an interview last week when asked about another police murder. When that bitch and her friends were leading the “defund the police” movement and BLM protests 2 years ago. Disgusting.

just about every major and major-ish city is on fire

The Harris county Sheriff has gone on National News and called out the DA and Hildalgo and her bunch for the low bonds and resulting crime spike. There is one judge in particular that he despises, a black female judge and he's not afraid to give her the business with the camera rolling.

Dear Houston,
You’re welcomed for the best and brightest refugees that we sent your way sixteen and a half years ago. How’s that been working out for y’all?
Sincerely,
The Mother Shithole

Problem:
Mayor Turner
Dora the explorer
The 18 black women liberal judges all elected when trying to vote Beto into office.
The DA
Harris county Sheriff Gonzalez
Don’t forget the two great congressional reps Shelia Jackson Lee and Ed Green.
The same thing that is every other major city. Democratic leadership.
