What? Are you from the stone ages? So it costs you a few cents. Just make a run around the house and turn them off.
I’m not your fricking maid. You’re my guest. Have the courtesy and respect of others homes to turn things off and pick up after yourself.

My in-laws have have a hard time letting go of the way they do things around the holidays (ie not being in charge of everything). Zyn and 4 Roses single barrel helps me let the small things go in the name of peace.

A lot of my family just likes to sit around the house despite the abundance of options within 35 minutes
"should we take the kids to the aquarium?" --"oh that could be nice" (goes nowhere)
Also, the people with little kids getting mad about people who aren't responsible for little kids going out and doing things that aren't child friendly

My favorite was a couple of years ago when I was told I wasn't allowed to drink Alcohol in my own house
I looked at my wifes sister and told her she done lost her fricking mind and her husband agreed completely.

Worse than my family coming over and fricking up my shite is how my wife no pics freaks out before they come over and we all have to pitch in and violently clean everything in the house. I said ‘you know your wasting a ton of time doing this because most of it is going to get fricked up.’ Death stare. She has a pre-company high level anxiety mode. But we all pitch in and do our job.
Wait… you’re married to my wife too???

There is always that kid who wants to mess with the dog. My dog has never bit anyone, but if you keep pulling on his tail, you might lose a finger or a hand. It's a German Sheppard, why are you testing me on this?

parents who allow their kids, kids that think pool table balls are made to throw off the table, at windows, at each other, and do nothing to stop them thus allowing me to be the a-hole i am.

My sister in law who is from out of town shows up with her caravan of kids and dogs and wants to stay at our house for a few days. Her husband always conveniently has to work, and she doesn't work so she has zero timetable on when she's overstayed her welcome.

Almost everything does - after so many years its easier to just realize you are not in control of your house during that time (no one really is), let it go, and hang out with me, Chevy, his Dad, and JD for the holidays

What kinds of relatives do you have??? Damn

Commie uncle wants to bring his girlfriend for Christmas. She does not eat pork and demands that we fix her an alternative to the Christmas ham. I would not resent the additional cooking nearly as much if she was a conservative.
Then tell the commie to bring her a grilled cheese.
Those that come to my house can eat what I cook, bring something they like or dont show up. Life is too short to put up with people like that. Im looking at you Aunt Sheila. Take your snide comments back to your house and eat there.

I have a huge family so many dofferent personalities and parenting styles. I also have house rules just like my grandparents had. It doesn't matter what you do at home when you are in my house you follow my house rules.
I also provide a lot of fun activities and things as long as you follow the rules (and I have more than anyone else) so all of the kids love coming here.
