Yeah it’s weird to me that family’s are so spread out. My family’s thanksgiving had 80-90 people and maybe 5 had to travel over an hour or fly in.

Not controlling their free-range kids.

I much prefer to host than do the visiting. No issues buying all the food, cooking and cleaning, and anything else my guest want. It’s priceless to be able to sleep in my own bed and have my own toilet to use.

Worse than my family coming over and fricking up my shite is how my wife no pics freaks out before they come over and we all have to pitch in and violently clean everything in the house. I said ‘you know your wasting a ton of time doing this because most of it is going to get fricked up.’ Death stare. She has a pre-company high level anxiety mode. But we all pitch in and do our job.

My in laws only drink coffee with chicory, so every morning there is a disappointment.
