Looking at the map between point of infraction and point of accident, it looks mainly residential. Would you want a cop chasing someone going 100 mph thru your neighborhood? I understand if it’s a murder or armed robbery suspect, but this racing activity happens every weekend (not saying it is right, they should be arrested for it, but if you know it happens at least set up something with multiple officers).

This culture is irredeemable. It’ll never just suddenly get fixed. It won’t even slowly get fixed. It’s gotten worse, and it’s not going to get better. You can’t tell it to stop or talk sense into it. All you can do is distance yourself from it, but it keeps creeping up on you when you’re not wanting it or asking for it.

Sounds like cops were chasing him, and that’s when he hit the other car. Let’s not act like he was just drag racing and lost control. The end results of this will probably be a limit on high speed chases on nonviolent offenses.

The argument is that sometimes a police chase escalates the situation.

However,
quote:

police officer saw the Dodge Charger traveling west into the eastbound lanes of Choctaw Drive around North Acadian Thruway while driving fast, nearly missing several cars.

He was already driving like a lunatic. Hauling arse going the wrong way. Police have to give chase in this situation.

It won't change in my lifetime or probably anyone else reading this. The only remedy is to surround yourself with like minded individuals.

This is a contradiction. Just put a .45 in his skull. Problem solved

Can an individual travel and witness such cultural interactions in the "wild"? A safari, if you will.

And if his grandmother had balls she’d be his grandfather.

If the guy is already going the wrong way down a major thoroughfare at a high rate of speed, the cops chasing him isn’t necessarily the issue.

I'm getting really fricking tired of the cops doing 60+ in a 25 through town as they rush off to some non emergency. (They're not pursuing anyone)
