the only way i/we can relate to his situation is maybe just after katrina or 2016 flood. that apocolytpic feeling, except he is not at home with family. he has to have a balance of patience and persistence to see this thru.

This is great. But do not hesitate to create and post if needed. I know if I were stuck on the other side of the world, I’d want the OT on my side getting me home.

Godspeed, Honkus and family. Looking forward to a pic from SFO when y’all land.

He needs to wear a gopro for the journey to Wuahn.

I could see where the ChiComms might frown on that. Been praying for you and your family Honkus, good luck on the rest of your journey.

I read in the WSJ that US citizens would have 30 days to pay the state department back for the cost of the chartered flight. I can’t even imagine the price tag they put on that for four people.

If they send Honkus a bill for $350 for all four of them then you know they have a sense of humor.

Had to search her history - she arrived from Singapore last night at SFO. Had no screenings of any kind at any point. Things may have changed since then. This was at 10PM.

yes, $1100 each. they have to sign a promisory note prior to leaving wuhan. the shitty thing is they wont get $$ back on the original flights they had booked for friday that are cancelled. but you cant really put a price on your family's well being. if they said $11,000 a piece, we would find a way to make it work

Temperature is not a Catch all for this. Some don’t show signs and still spread it.
