If you had to honestly sit down and determine a number, how many hours do you truly work a week working from home.

I’d say max 30 for me on a busy week. Of course my goals are already met for the year and we have a max comp plan, so there is some coasting right now. But still, at the beginning of the year where I was busting it, it was nowhere near 40+

The same number that I worked when I had to go into the office, I just don't have to sit there and pretend to be busy

whether I WFH or the office, I accomplish 88% of what I need to do and reschedule the rest to March 31st

The correct answer. Goofing off on TD.com from an office building is no more "working" than if I'm doing it from home.
Just less pretending involved at home.

I work the same number of hours but it takes me more hours to do it. I get distracted by things that need to be done around the house. Before I was forced to work from home I loved it. Now, not so much.

This. Not many jobs in my profession require 40 actual hours of work a week.

I’ve worked from home for 10+ years. Some weeks I may get 30-40 and some I get 40-50. In the end it’s not about how many hours, it’s did I accomplish what needed to be accomplished.

For instance, I had a light day today and was able to bring 2 of my kids to lunch after their half day at school. However, I left for Denver Sunday bright and early so that I could be back for 5hat lunch today. Additionally, I’ll be working 10-12 hours Labor Day bringing on a team from a new acquisition.

10.5 logged this week, will probably hit 20ish.
Last week was 22.

I'm busy as hell and getting a lot of work out the door.

This is correct for when I worked from home.

Yep.

Which is maybe 2 hours. Maybe.

I probably work a little more hours at home. I spend no time bullshitting with coworkers and I typically start earlier, end later and take about 20 minutes for lunch vs an hour.

I work a ton more hours from home than in the office. There is no separation. Before driving to work then driving home was like flipping a switch. Unless an emergency came up, I was ‘off’.

I’m never ‘off’ at home. I get an email and go to my computer. Next thing you know, it’s been an hour. Phone calls, same deal. I feel like I work around the clock from home vs standard 8-5 in the office.

I hit it hard from about 8 AM to lunch, even though I do have the TV on while I work, maybe listen to a podcast or two. After lunch I full on coast. So if I had to put a number to it, I would say 30

40+ hours a week for me.

I've been working at home for almost 10 years now. There are days I miss being in the office, but most days I don't.

It really depends on the day. I do get in about 40 hours total a week, but some days are light and some are non-stop meetings and fires to put out. I absolutely love it though. I went from driving 2 hours a day to zero. That’s 2 extra hours a day with the family or getting a quick 9 holes in, etc.

Around 40, depending on the week. Sometimes way more, sometimes less. Sat down at 9am this morning and just finished everything up, so I'm at 7 hours.

I work in MT, but live in ET. So I "work" 10:30-7 technically. So that will put me at 9 hours today. But I don't really work after 5 if it's not urgent. Just check my emails but leave most for the morning. I can get a lot accomplished before everyone comes "in to" the office.
