Pressure washing is in the future. Wife found out she was pregnant literally the week we moved in. Other priorities at the moment.

You could say a lot worse than that about most suburban neighborhoods.

Somewhat. We had a busy summer getting settled in and football season. I pressure washed my patio concrete but the fence will be a bigger project.

I’ll send pictures for you when done baw .

Damn. There's an even economic tier system in homeless camps. Some of these bums live in rugged lean-to's (9th ward), some of them have small popups (Gentilly), and I see at least one St. Charles Avenue mansion tent out there. The mansion tent guy is likely the one that owns the blower and weedeater too.

Councilwoman Laurie Adams needs to be held more accountable. Her response was they would send in people to help the homeless vagrants know about resources to help them. No mention of helping the homeowners get rid of them.

She told us in an email that the Sheriffs Office was at the camp today and are contacting the property owners. Also a quote from the wbrz article states…

“Adams says the city-parish is working to get the homeless prevention teams on site by next week.”

I think (hope for OP’s sake) that they tell them about resources to help them as they kick them out of that area in order to help the homeowners. You can’t just go on the news and say “screw the homeless, we need to rid of them to help these homeowners”.

No, but you can talk about city ordinances they are breaking by camping on private property without the owner’s consent. You can talk about why you cannot allow tent cities due to health and safety issues.

I'm absolutely shocked that WBRZ finally decided to be an ADVOCATE for the citizens of the city instead of the Broome administration.

Jesus I just finally opened this thread. I would not feel safe at all in this situation. Especially with kids and such.

Not impressed with her response. I’m sure Baton Rouge has a bunch of homeless prevention teams on standby. It’s laughable.

While a bunch of ideological liberals are “working” on the root causes of homelessness, you’re gonna have a bunch of meth addicts camped mere feet from your back door.
