We are down the drain already.

This morning I read a series of tweets about how the internet, like the old internet with blogs and different kinds of links and information, is disappearing, so I’m already in a weird state of mind. Why did I open this thread?

Do nothing and let the Louisiana summer take care of the problem, I bet they pick up and move.

1) You should have done your homework before buying your house.
2) I would call the cops every single day until something happened.
3) Call the actual media, Kirin Chawla, and ask if she can help, in the form of shining a spotlight on the situation.
4) Big Big dogs. And arm yourself. THese are drug addicts and they will do bad things to get money for that fix.
5) If the cops don't do anything, then you tell them, they have 3 days before you handle the situation yourself.
6) Contact your local representative and bitch to them about this.
7) Contact the property owner.
8) Do you have an HOA?

Social media probably could actually be helpful as well.

Most neighborhoods have FB groups and other ways to keep in contact now, if OP has one then sharing that in there may be helpful.

The owner of the property is Dr. Narra Anjani. She's a psychiatrist that practices at North Baton Rouge Behavioral Health. She lives in Country Club of Louisiana.

Now we are getting somewhere, drop them off at her house.

Bear mace all those carts and belongings while they sleep especially the stuff in carts. I had solid luck with this in Houston macing their bags they "stored along my fence line." Also put a camera on 10' pole in your back yard facing them....make sure it has a bright red light and motion spots.

Bad idea. They would just throw it back and now you're in a war with them

I would honestly throw something very offensive or nuisance smelling around the area to make them leave.

Tons of moth balls or something. 20 bottles of deer piss?

confronted him and he talked back to me. We went back and forth for a minute so I went inside to get my gun and call the cops. He had jumped over my fence when I got back. The next day one of my neighbors caught him on her ring camera walking up her driveway but wearing a ski mask.

This character is as bad as the op…..why in gods name hasn’t the neighborhood banded together to get this shite out? It’s like they are waiting for a bad incident to occur.

Then pitch a tent in front of her house and post flyers around the methadone clinic inviting all to join the party.

Then it’s back on the op for failing to do due diligence. I find this story absolutely wild.

OP. Call the ladeq to report unpermited dump site, sanitary system and whatever else they have regs on. Make a new report everyday.

They have investigate every report. Might get the landowners attention.

This won't help if you want quick action.

Do you move out when someone in your house has a cold or sinus infection?

OP, please don’t follow this horrible advice. The cops cannot do anything without the property owner’s involvement. Making threats will not help your situation.

I don't think he should threaten the homeless addicts as it may result in a bad situation. Like others have said they have nothing to lose and would likely go further than a normal person as far as violence/retaliation.

However, I think having it on the news would probably get the owner's attention. I would also call the cops daily to get them to rethink moving. If it was my property I'd do anything I could think of to get them to leave.
