I am going to be taking a couple of classes on the side while I work but I can't use the company printer for classes. So I figured I would just go ahead and use this as an excuse to grab a small printer for home.

My question is what brand do you suggest? I have looked on Best Buy and most decent looking ones are around $100.

Epson $100

HP $130

Canon $100

I haven’t bought one in over a decade but used to have good luck with Canon. I had an i9900 13” wide printer that was the shite.

I bought an HP for about $100 more than 10 years ago. It copies/scans/prints. End product looks great. Doesn't go through ink like a little boy going through paper towels.

Still going strong.

hp laserjet is all i will buy since 1994. they run forever. my current office printer is m402. i print 75 page documents regularly with no problem. letter in the tray, envelope and legal in the bypass. hp toner is expensive but amazon stuff is ok and much cheaper.

I have the HP one, purchased by my company
Buy the 63XL ink cartridge & have another on hand as back up
I find it goes through ink pretty fast

Not sure how much you will use the scan function but for some reason it randomly goes unavailable

I don’t use it enough to let it bother me

ETA
I have a Brother HL-2270DW laser printer that I prefer

I bet you nobody here knows that Canon actually builds HP's printers.

Got tired of ink jet so finally got a small laser for the house. Been happy with it so far.
