May revamp our Texas Hold em game and looking for some insight. Currently we have 6-8 players with a 20-50 dollar buy-in (winner take all) and a one time rebuy before the 4th big blind.

Do y’all bump up the blinds every 15-20mins?

We usually split the pot for the last 2 according to chip stacks. Head to head for hours suck.

When I was in 2nd grade I kicked a soccer ball and broke a window at school. I blamed it on another kid and he got paddled.

Our league branched out into other games like PLO. We also started playing more cash games instead of tourneys. Cash games typically are more fun. You get to see more flops because the table tends to be a little looser. Hi-lo games can be fun too.

What do you want us to share? Sounds like you have it figured out.

Do yall put a time limit on the blinds? (after a certain period of time, the blinds go up).

We started doing this, because when we first started playing, we would have 12-15 people and we would start around 7:30PM and there were nights where the games would go 1AM-2AM. I think the first three times we played 15mins before blinds went up then after that it was 30mins..

I recommend a cash game like mentioned above. Will be more fun and doesnt have a time limit, so people can leave when they want or to hammered

20 dollar buy ins can get to decents stakes.

Green chips usually end up worth 100 bucks or so toward the end of the game.

In 2006 it was trendy, but some people have been playing before the popularity and continues to do so.

How many people? If it is 6-8 of us, we play $50 buy in.. But sometimes, if there are more people around and want to play, but don't want to spend $50, we will drop it to $20.

This is pretty fun depending on who you play with.. We call it Indian fire for some reason. When I was younger, we use to play cards ALL THE TIME. We were some gambling SOBs.. And we use to play all kind of games.. I got it, Cadillac, King's Corner, In Between. In Between, you could either lose a lot of money or win a lot.
