Anyone know where I can find some at-home Covid tests in the BR area?

Stop testing yourself. It’s a cold. Take some NyQuil and go to bed.

I thought better of asking this group of idiots, but I guess being helpful isn’t in the cards this morning. Oh well.

Either way, the tests aren’t for me personally, they are for my kids and will dictate when their school lets them return.

I got a pic of a negative home test for my kid. Holler if you want me to shoot it to you.

If I have a cold I am not taking NyQuil and going to bed. I am going about my regular business. If it’s Covid and I do that I am almost guaranteeing that at least some others will get this version. I’d like to know the difference to prevent exposing lots of others, somewhat complicity, if I don’t at least have courtesy to find out the difference. One is remarkably contagious and one is not particularly contagious.

I am not for shutdowns or governments telling people they have to inject themselves with some largely untested vaccine, but I don’t think it is a bad idea to confirm I have/don’t have Covid to be able to go out into the world and not fear exposing others, particularly elderly, to Covid.

That’s not really answering my question. Is your reading comprehension really that bad?

All those downvotes and not a single answer as to what not testing is suppose to accomplish. Sad.

Walgreens, CVS, etc.

Lately it's been hit or miss on if they even have the Abbott Lab take home test since daddy government is buying all of them. It comes in a purple box. Good luck.

all I can tell you is dont trust the CVS in-store stock tracker on their website.

Pretty much impossible to find a take home test around here in N AL. Easiest way to get a test was to get one through primary care physician, in and out in 5 minutes.

So…you’re going to test yourself for COVID for the rest of your life? It’s not gonna go away and it’s always gonna have a greater impact on the elderly.

I am going to test when I think I have covid and there is a very serious uptick in the numbers to avoid giving it to elderly and still be able to go about my life if I do not have it. Yes.

You have an all or nothing mentality here. Just because I am saying it is not unreasonable to go get tested right now in the middle of a massive uptick does not mean I will do it “for the rest of my life”. Come on, man. You need to get a grip. You are letting this thing get to you way to much.

What’s the effective difference between exposing someone else to “this version” of covid and a regular cold?

What school requires this? They’re kids, they’re fine.

Lol, let me guess you in no circumstance would ever test yourself...

Oh wait you would. Nothing is in absolutes
