yeah, right. As I posted in another string, Ricky Gervais was right - if ISIS opened up a streaming service, all these pieces of fricking filth would be calling their agents in the morning trying to line up jobs.

It's weird that cancelling people, getting them fired, government censorship etc... wasn't a bad thing until about a week ago.

I think this is pretty much it. They didn't care when it was people they considered the other side getting canceled. They care now

"factually wrong"..."but who cares"

Ummm, that's the fricking problem dickbag. The left wing liberal media has went on T for years spreading lies about people, making shite up and people believe it. Kimmel lied, it's not the joke...it's the lie.

Does Hollywood have any pull now days ?

I thought most of the film makers moved out due to crime, taxes, restrictions, permits, Newscum.

It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that actors are simple, ignorant morons who see one headline, don't read the story, and create a false narrative using their celebrity.

Kimmel was going to be fired soon anyway because he sucked and wasn't funny. Also free speech has absolutely nothing to do with what happened. It was false speech that he refused to walk back.

Of course they're on strike. You can't work out there unless you're progfilth. I know a guy who lost a special effects job when they found out he was a conservative.

It was false speech

Oof. Nothing false about what he said.

"the distance between what is said and what is known to be true has become an abyss"

quote:

“The Maga gang is desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,”

That happened.. Im not sure how anyone could think that didnt happen.

The fact Tyler Robinson is a left winger doesnt mean MAGA didnt try to portray him as anything other than one of them. It just means they were correct in not trying to portray him as one of them. The action still happened, therefore his statement wasn't false.

The only thing false is the narrative that Kimmel somehow said Robinson was MAGA. He implied he could be, but he didnt say he was MAGA.

lets say you're right, which you're not, it was at best poorly worded speech for a scripted monologue from writers who carefully script words every day.

He then, allegedly, was refusing to even clarify what he said on his next show and was going to double down and attack MAGA further, so he got stopped before he could go out and do more damage. It's really not that deep or surprising.

Kimmel peddled in innuendo, the Left swallowed it whole, and now people like you are scrambling to argue semantics instead of facing the obvious: the insinuation was false and malicious. That’s why he got shite canned.

/end of story.
You and Jimmy both can get fricked.

Yeah he got "suspended indefinitely"/dropped from sinclair/nexstar because he said something a lot of people didnt like and he wasn't making them any money anyway. Not sure why people cant just be honest about it.

Can we adopt the same standard for our politicians?

I would say this is quite an oversimplification. Best case, he was antagonizing 51% of adult Americans and simultaneously fanning the flames of discord on the other 49%, of which a member just committed a violent assassination. He knew full well what he was doing and was completely unapologetic about it.

Irrelevant. Last I checked, late night hosts aren’t elected officials. They’re paid entertainers under contract with morality clauses. When you peddle a false and callous insinuation about a man who was just assassinated, your employer has every right to drop you.

a gross and intentional oversimplification, but what do you expect from Corinthians420.
