Then they have the audacity to ramble on and on about climate change drunk on their expensive wine (more like someone just put a $1000 price tag over a $50 tag on the wine), and all kinds of Hollywood drugs like xanax and coke.

Trying to tell the world about climate change and how Braxtyon’s travel ball team parents should all buy electric cars and be more wary of climate change when the Hollywood morons create the most of their “climate change.”

Remember folks, these are the same people that campaigned to put people who don’t know what they have between their legs in wrong public restrooms and are now spreading such insane ideas to the world.

I get what you're saying but there are a lot more Braxtyon's and regular people in the world than people flying on private jets.

As for the OP, how do you know part of the agenda isn’t discussing ways to incentivize the aviation industry to either a) develop technology to reduce impact of plane emissions or b) contribute to offsetting activities elsewhere?

This is nothing more than a virtue signalling camp.

Their religion of environmentalism allows them to pay indulgences to rectify their carbon footprint which is 10000x larger than the average person. The policies they propose don't affect them because their wealth insulates them, but it makes them feel good in their little Hollywood circle jerk.

Also, the free market has been improving jet engine fuel efficiency for years .

Lots more people in China than the U.S.

Lots more people in India than the U.S.

Lots less environmental regulation in both of those countries. Sell the bullshite over there, not here.

Are you under the impression they’re aren’t international efforts to address climate change concerns?

Do you think that just because other countries are worse that we shouldn’t bother trying to improve our own countries?

You mean those "treaties" that have no repercussions for violating them?

Those countries are a lot smarter than this one when it comes to bullshite like that.

The mental gymnastics you do to try to maintain your contrarian, devils advocate e-persona are hilarious. His point was you have a bunch of elitist gathering up to discuss how us minions should contour our lifestyles to combat climate change. While their own lifestyles grossly amplify all the bad things they say people do to cause this "crisis".

You don't keep up with the news do you? The latest financial numbers show that businesses aren't shifting production elsewhere. We're all holding out on the trade war to end.

More companies moving production out of china

It doesn't happen over night but it is happening.

Are you under the impression that China is going to listen to that bullshite? Under the Paris accord, we were paying them billions to do nothing, and if we hadn’t withdrawn we’d have continued for decades.

Sell it elsewhere.

Yeah. I get that.

and so would >1% of the population if they cared enough about this

that was my point that seemingly went over your head

but please keep calling me a "contrarian" for not agreeing with hyperbolic nonsense

You don't have a point. Your point, as usual, is to offer some lame counter-point. The guy was simply pointing out the hypocrisy. Which should be apparent to everyone, regardless of their stance on climate change.

The OP already did that. I was making fun of his "<1%" line

I'm glad we agree that his <1% line was nonsense

See? that wasn't hard

I used to think you were kind of smart and did this act for entertainment. Which I can appreciate. But I’ve come to realize you’re one stupid mother fricker.

Hollywood drug culture
Wine snobs
