I’m pretty sure for a few dollars, a talented Hollywood writer will create the most heartbreaking script for their “stories” about abortion. I imagine the failure rate of “I did all of the birth control and I still got pregnant” will be astounding!!

They’re actors, it’s what they do.

The world would be much better if 99% of Hollywood had been aborted.

I’d ask them to show me in the constitution where it grants them that right.

When they inevitably fail, I’d give them some help and point them to the 10th amendment.

When they inevitably ask me what that has to do with abortion, I tell them to find a state that allows it and go.

Their stories aren’t surprising. Our society has a problematic “me first” outlook where people don’t like to be inconvenienced.

My post in another abortion thread discusses this further:

quote:

It's a shame. I posted in another thread that I don't believe abortion to be just a black and white issue. Certain instances of rape, incest, and extreme danger/possible death to the mother do exist. It's ridiculous to argue otherwise. However, the overwhelming majority of abortions, simply don't fall into that category. Rather, they are due to the mother "not being ready" or she "made a mistake." The father deserves his fair share of blame too. Americans do not want to be inconvenienced. They want things how they want them and when they want them. They do not want to accept consequences. Instead, they think of themselves first, and do whatever drastic steps necessary to avoid an event that they aren't prepared for. It's 2022. Pregnancies are easy to avoid. Contraceptive, birth control, Plan-B...it's so, so easy to obtain. Yet, unintended pregnancies happen all the time? How? Well, people are stupid, ignorant, naive, and most notedly, lazy.

Do you think any one of these women would have been decent mothers?

There’s absolutely no way of knowing unless you try, that’s when “shite happens”. In half of a century walking this planet, I’ve seen 18 y..o.’s whom I would’ve said they had absolutely no business being a parent, 5 years later be incredible parents to a beautiful child. I’ve also seen 30 y.o.’s with their “shite” together completely fail at being a parent.

But choosing to raise a baby without my own financial security, without a loving and supportive partner, that wasn’t gonna work for me.

But you got pregnant with that partner.

All we have done as a society is created a cushioned floor that women cant go below for making mistakes. There are no repercussions for their actions or bad choices.

Lot of folks choosing to continue to live their lives the way they won’t to and a baby would interrupt that lifestyle.

If there is a higher being (and I believe there is a god) then they will have to answer for it o e day and the excuse I choose me won’t work.

I’m one of those who came about as a result of that. No shotgun needed, but my folks did the right thing and immediately got married while still in college no less, and got their degrees as well

my wife's brother and SIL did this as well. still together 23 years later.

it was a lot of shame for them as he was very involved in church leadership and BSM (Baptist Student Ministries) at the time. i don't mean shame as in a permanent shame, but as in, "i did the wrong thing and now need to fix it."

people can scream about how abstinence doesn't work all day long, but don't stick or let a dick be stuck anywhere until you're ready to raise a kid.

Top shelf propaganda. Keep the fetus supply high, keep the profits high. Snapping baby necks, and cashing daddy checks.

What can you say about this statement when it concerns your unborn child? Of course it is Alec Baldwin's offspring

I wonder how many have no idea that they were about to be a father and lost a child due to abortion?

How rude and disrespectful. You’re mom chose life. What a blessing for you.

Not sure why you stereotype women. We’re not all alike at all.

This is what gets me. A child had to die because she couldn’t resist some losers dick and HER rights have been violated?! Give me a fricking break.

So I let him nut in me anyway.

This is madness. You know how you DON'T gain any sympathy for "my body, my choice"? Have D-list celebrities share how callous and irresponsible they were with their bodies and choices prior to getting pregnant.
