I have spent my whole life as witness to real problems. Violent deaths, deviant rapes, tragic suicides, disfiguring injuries.
My current struggles fail to compare.
Like I said earlier, I am often reminded of my early training: Nothing last forever. Pain is temporary. Compartmentalize it and persevere.
The only easy day truly was yesterday. Most people are stronger than they give themselves credit for. This too shall pass.

My wife does this to me with everydamn thing. Gives me a list of a zillion things to do, adds to it before I can finish it, then bitches because I don't watch the kids enough and it's always her(not by a longshot) and heaven forbid I forget or didn't hear something on her everchanging list of things to do. Sometimes I think about having an affair bit then I remember that I don't like being around my wife, having a girlfriend on the side would ve way too much trouble.

Why would any husband submit to working off of their wife's task list?? Once your wife learned that you would submit you were screwed.

Wow. Your wife scares me. The fact that she will call law-enforcement to the house, saying you have a gun and are dangerous, knowing they’re coming with AK’s, and hard-ons, tells me that she is trying to collect insurance money on you.
Also, she did that knowing that your employment and retirement would be screwed for your life. She is way beyond just trying to put you in the trick bag. She is trying to do long-term damage or have somebody kill you.
